The cost of sending your son to an alternative
boarding school is usually far less than sending him to a residential treatment
center, and unless he has criminal or drug-abuse problems, an alternative
boarding school will probably produce a more worthwhile result. We have parents
tell us that we are far less expensive than other programs they have seen in our
state, but no system that offers what we offer will be cheap by any means.
Yes. We have partnered with a two excellent financing institutions with very
reasonable interest rates and excellent acceptance policies. Please contact us
for application instructions. With our focus on student success and our
financing partnerships we are able to help many who would not otherwise be able
to afford an alternative boarding school.

How is your school accredited?
We are accredited through the Northwest
Associated of Accredited Schools (NAAS). This accrediting body approves schools
and universities in most of the western states. We are also recognized by the
Utah State Office of Education as an Accredited School.

Is yours a lock-down facility?
Of course not. Unlike institutions focused primarily on keeping young men
away from society, we focus instead on education and life experiences. Our
students are supervised while in school and during activities, but they are not
kept in a solitary environment.
-
What is the average length
of enrollment at your school?
We expect
that most of our students will be with us for at least nine months, but many of them will be with us longer by necessity or desire.
While some students come to us only to catch up in their schooling, others
discover that they would rather finish their high school education with us
instead of returning to their former situation. We handle each case individually with respect to the child's needs and specific situation.
-
Where is your
school located?
Our school is located in the city of Richfield, Utah. Richfield is the county
seat of Sevier county.
-
Will I be allowed to contact my child while he is at your school?
Yes. The simple fact is that you as a parent will have years of influence on your child while we will only have your child with us for a small amount of time. Our mission is to help your child
with their educational needs, and without your involvement we have a much smaller chance for success.
-
Do you use physical punishment on students?
No. Utah State law dictates that physical enforcement may only be used to prevent a child from injuring him/herself or others. We go a step farther in saying that even in that case the minimum possible force should be used and with the main motivation being to prevent injury of students.
We are focused on and committed to keeping our students safe.
-
Who will know
that I have contacted you or have my child in your school?
Your privacy is very important to us. All information either about you or your child will be kept confidential.
-
What should I do if I have more questions?
Please feel free to
contact us
at any time by email or at our toll-free number. Our helpful and friendly staff would be glad to answer your questions.
