People have asked us why we
put such an emphasis on physical fitness when we are in fact an academic
institution.
The simple fact is that
teenage boys require outlets, and if we want them to do well in school we also
need to provide wholesome, active recreation. As an integral part of their
education our students will lift weight, participate in fitness classes, play
racquetball, and even learn martial arts or wrestling. We have found that this
increases their ability to learn and their desire to do well and to improve.
Take a walk with us through
the gym where you son will be improving physically, while his teachers wait to
help improve him mentally!

We mentioned lifting weights,
and we will not disappoint! Your son does not have to be an athlete to enjoy the
benefits of improved health, increased energy, and increased confidence that
weight-training will bring.

For those who are not yet
ready for free weights, we have plenty of other options for both the seasoned
athlete and the new beginner.

Medicine balls, aerobics, and
more fitness classes than we can name with new ones being added all the time. We
don't plan on your son being bored when he's not working on his school work!

Yes, these boys are in a
kick-boxing class, and boy are they having a good time!

Spinning anyone? You've never
seen such tired boys!

Many of the boys who come to
us have never played racquetball before, but with our own courts they can get
pretty good by the time they leave!
