While your son is here he
will not be able to escape from the work and the joy of ranch life. When he is
not in school, at the gym, or on a field trip with our staff, he will be working
with the animals on our ranch. Horses, cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, dogs and
cats, your son will learn to love and care for all of them in the age-old
beneficial course of ranch living.

Dorothy, we call her. Your son may write home to tell you about the
first time he got to milk a cow, but beware that the novelty might wear off in a
couple of months!

This spirited young horse is
headed back to join the rest of our small herd, each with a personality all
their own and a beauty that is undeniable.

Have you ever wondered how
you move a 500 pound sow to get her ready to have her next litter? Though less
beautiful to most, these intelligent creatures will no doubt be a favorite in
your son's letters home.

Our winters here in the
mountains of Utah are very hard on our animals, our students help prepare the
ranch for those hard months. Here we are working on some horse stalls for our
equine friends!

On our ranch everyone and
every thing has to get along, with these two that means that when he shows up,
she leaves!

Fencing, a constant necessity
on a ranch. Beyond the hammer and nails, teamwork is the most vital part of this
project.

Taken off the back porch of
our ranch house, it was extraordinary in person!

No, it's not a painting! This
picture was taken from the nearby Koosharem Reservoir, where people quite
literally come to camp for the entire summer just to be near the good fishing.
If you look closely, you can see the ranch house in the distance, settled up
against the mountains. We hope to see you soon!
